What to Expect
I want you to get the most out of our Design Consultation, so you leave the call with new ideas and feeling energized to try them. Here's a helpful guide on what to expect.
1 / What can I do to get the most out of our time together?
Before our session, you’ll fill out the Introductory Questionnaire that will help me get to know your space and design challenges before our session begins. This will help maximize our time spent problem solving in your consultation session.
2 / What if I have questions before our session?
If you have questions before our session, feel free to put them in the introductory questionnaire and we can tackle them together first thing on our call.

3 / Where will our session take place?

On Zoom. You can dial in using the Zoom link on your Calendar. Some people like to dial in with two devices, so they can use the front-facing camera on the phone to show me around the space, and a computer to talk and take notes on.

4 / How will we spend our time on the call?
We will focus on your top priorities from the questionnaire to make sure you leave the call with actionable takeaways. I recommend we focus on one room, but if we hit all of your questions before our time is up, feel free to move on to another room. We will cover as much as we can in our time together.

5 / Do I need to be in the room we're talking about?
It’s helpful but not necessary. The most important thing is that we have as much information as possible about the space we’re discussing. Photos and measurements are extremely helpful.
6 / Is there anything that's off limits?
There are some questions that are more appropriate for a general contractor than an interior design consultation. If so I’ll let you know and I’ll figure out how to communicate that effectively to a professional in that field.

7 / What if I have additional questions after our call?
You’re always welcome to reach out to me with any questions you have after a session, and if your question has a quick answer I’m glad to answer it. If the question has a more in depth answer, or I feel like it would be best discussed on a call, I may refer you to book an additional session.
8 / What happens after our session?
After our call, you get to put into action the design ideas we talked about. I love seeing how your design process is coming along, feel free to share photos!
I welcome regulars in my design consultations, so if you’d like to check in or troubleshoot more design problems as you progress we can continue to work together.
